Why join my fan group on Facebook?

I get asked now and then about my Facebook fan group and whether there’s any point joining once you’ve already read the books. The answer is yes, especially if you enjoy chatting about the Carreros with other people who actually know who you’re talking about without needing a twenty-minute explanation first.

The group has been around for years now and has changed a lot since I originally wrote this page. What started as somewhere to share book updates became its own little reader community, full of people who came for the books and somehow ended up staying for the chat, nonsense and occasional collective obsession over fictional men.

So, what is the fan group?

It’s a private Facebook group for my readers and anyone who loves the Carrero books. I pop in, chat, share things, answer questions when I can and generally join in with whatever chaos is happening.

It’s also somewhere you can talk freely about the books with other readers, which means spoilers absolutely happen. If you’ve only just started Carrero, enter at your own risk because someone will eventually mention something you haven’t reached yet.

Why should I join?

If you want somewhere a little more relaxed and interactive than my author page, this is it. We chat about the books and characters, share posts, recommendations, random nonsense and whatever else happens to take over the group that day.

It’s also where readers get involved in deciding what goes into the bonus books. Fan group members vote on which scenes from the original trilogies they want to see rewritten from the male POV, so you get a say in which moments we crawl back inside and experience from the other side. I give you a selection of chapters, you lot vote for the ones you most want, and the winners make their way into the bonus books. Basically, you get to decide which Carrero man’s head I have to climb back inside next. 😂

I also share book news, blog posts, sneak peeks and other bits and pieces there, so it’s a good place to keep up with what I’m doing without relying on Facebook deciding whether you deserve to see my posts that week.

And, obviously, if you still have strong opinions about Jake, Arry, Alexi or any of the other Carrero men years after reading their books, you’ll probably fit right in.

Even better. You can discuss everything without worrying about spoilers, join in with character debates and help vote on the direction of the bonus-book chapters. The main trilogies might already be written, but apparently I still let my readers boss me around in the bonus stories.

What if I’ve already read all the books?

Even better. You can discuss them without worrying about spoiling yourself, join in with character debates and talk to readers who have also reread these books an arguably unhealthy number of times.

The Carrero world has also continued growing over the years, so there is usually something to talk about, revisit or argue over.

A few group rules

The group is for adults, so 18+ only.

Be nice to each other. Cheekiness, sarcasm and a little harmless chaos are very welcome; being horrible to another member isn’t.

Book discussion and spoilers are allowed, along with recommendations and general chat. Basically, treat it like a relaxed reader space rather than somewhere you need to behave formally.

If another member or something posted in the group makes you uncomfortable, please report it or contact me privately. I want the group to remain somewhere people actually enjoy spending time.

And please feel free to invite other readers who you think would enjoy the books and the particular brand of weirdness that comes with being a Carrero fan.

Come and join us

If that sounds like your kind of place, come and join us. Whether you’ve just discovered Carrero or you’ve been around long enough to remember the original Team Jake and Team Arry wars, you’re welcome.

Want to keep up with me outside Facebook?

If Facebook isn’t your thing, or you simply don’t trust it to show you anything I post, you can also join my mailing list. I send occasional updates about new books, blog posts, my latest makes and DIY adventures, knitting patterns, free printables and whatever other creative rabbit hole I’ve disappeared down that week.

No constant emails or daily inbox invasion. Just the things I think you might actually want to know about.

I’ve been a member of LTMarshall’s fan group even before I read the first in the Carrero Series (remember the black stilettos on the cover??)..
Lots of fun banter… cheekiness and occasional photos of half naked men posted while we all decide who is best placed to play the parts of this author’s male characters! 😍
By many authors give their readers the time LTMarshall does and if you’ve not yet discovered Carrero World but enjoy lots of chemistry, sexy but respectable gentlemen, then go take a look 😉🖤💛🖤
