The Carrero empire began with Giuseppe Carrero and Isabella Romano, whose children were raised with one unshakable belief: the family’s strength lay in its ability to endure, expand, and remain united.
As the Carrero influence grew, the founding family divided its power across four American territories: New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, and New Orleans, each entrusted to a different branch of the bloodline.
Marco Carrero established New York, Lorenzo Carrero took Chicago, Vincenzo Carrero built Philadelphia, while Giulia Carrero and her marriage to Matteo De Luca secured New Orleans, creating four distinct strongholds operating beneath the same family legacy.
Though distance, marriage, and generations gave each branch its own identity, traditions, and way of wielding power, they were never separate families. They were four arms of the same dynasty, different territories, one bloodline, one empire.
The Carrero legacy crossed the Atlantic through Alessandra Carrero, daughter of Lorenzo Carrero, whose marriage to Edward Clarke united two powerful families and established the Carreros within London society.
From that union grew the Carrero-Clarke connection, extending the family’s influence beyond its four American territories and creating a European stronghold built not through conquest, but through marriage, blood, and loyalty.
