A Message To Book Bloggers

In light of the recent events and the removal from groups by admin of any one of us speaking out I want to take this time to give a very important message to the blogger community. It’s been said that we no longer see you as worthy……….
This is actually how we feel about you all.

  • We authors adore you.
  • We know the majority of you are supportive, warm people with integrity.
  • We value everything you do for us.
  • Without you there is no us, and vice versa.
  • We know the work it involves and we appreciate you all the more for it.
  • You rock.
  • Your pictures rock, be they well staged, and complex, or simple and organic. They are all beautiful.
  • Your reviews are the bomb.
  • We respect those of you who do this with passion and compassion.
  • Keep doing what you are doing in your own unique ways.
  • Keep being the supportive community we have come to love.
  • Some of my very best friends are book bloggers . I love reading the blogs I follow. You are part of my book life.
  • Don’t let fear stop you from blogging about any damn thing you want.

  1. I really needed to hear this today. I love the book blogger and the bookstagram communities. I know the time and effort that go into both. This post is so important for those who have been disheartened. The bookish world is huge and it is not owned by any of us. We are all allowed our opinions, we may just voice it differently. Not all of us like to shout and cause a fuss. At the end of the day, I love reading my books and photographing them. Is it hurting anyone no? Have I made many special and meaningful friendships through my love of books? Yes, so many that I value.

I don’t have any time for the unnecessary noise. Those that like the drama and seem to thrive from it. I do not and I never will.

I love books that my only motive for the blog.

For those discouraged lately, don’t be. You can make changes to avoid drama. Enjoy and love your passion for reading and share your thoughts on your blog. There are people like me who love reading them.

    Be kind.
