After a long journey of writing, planning, rewriting, world-building, and probably far too much Irn bru, I’m so excited to finally announce that Awakening: Eve of Eden is now officially available for pre-order on Kindle.
This book has lived in my head for a very long time.

For readers already familiar with the Awakening world, this story dives into a darker and far more emotional chapter of the series. At the centre are twin sisters, Eve and Eden, born into a fragile time of peace but pulled onto completely different paths by power, expectation, jealousy, and the dangerous forces awakening around them.
One sister is gifted beyond measure.
The other feels painfully ordinary.
And the bond between them slowly fractures in ways neither of them fully understands.
What begins as family conflict becomes something much larger, pulling the story into ancient darkness, corrupted creatures, forbidden powers, and a world where even love can become dangerous.
This book allowed me to explore a lot of themes I love writing about:
- identity and self-worth
- family loyalty and resentment
- power and corruption
- emotional trauma
- supernatural politics
- morally grey characters
- dangerous alliances
- and, of course, wolves, vampires, and things far worse lurking beneath the surface
Readers can also expect a new and mysterious character entering the world in the form of a demon-wolf hybrid whose existence should not even be possible. He quickly became one of my favourite characters to write because he walks such a fine line between ally and threat.
Tonally, Eve of Eden leans heavily into dark paranormal fantasy with emotional character-driven storytelling, tension, danger, and a much more gothic atmosphere than some earlier books in the universe.
The Kindle release date is currently set for May 23, 2026, and seeing it finally sitting there on Amazon feels surreal after spending so much time inside this world.
To everyone who has continued supporting my books, shared recommendations, left reviews, or simply stuck around while I disappear into writing caves for months at a time… thank you. Truly. Independent authors survive because readers care enough to keep turning pages, and I never take that for granted.
I can’t wait for you all to step into Eve and Eden’s story soon. 🖤
